In the world of mythology Nature Elementals are the spirits of the 4 elements; Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. An Anthropomorphisation of nature. Stick a face on a tree, and the tree is now your buddy.

In the world of early childhood education, Nature Elementals brings those spirits to the early years learning environments.

Nature Elementals supports children aged 0–5 in developing a meaningful connection to nature using various programs, such as the much celebrated loose parts driven ‘Mobile Junk and Nature Playground ‘ as well as resources such as the nature-based children’s picture books.

 Glenn Wagland (CEO and founder of Mobile Junk and Nature Playground, and Nature Elementals) has a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and has worked in the profession since 2001, mentoring thousands of children in the art of connecting with nature.

 While he is known throughout South Australia as an advocate for outdoor loose parts play (AKA “Glenn the Junk Man”), nature connection is his true passion.
