Mobile Junk and nature session details
The Mobile Junk and Nature Playground is a pop-up playground where the philosophy is ‘built and designed by kids, for kids’. It is nearly a ton of loose parts, both natural and sustainably sourced ‘junk’, enabling children to explore their natural environment, imaginations, social and physical abilities. Glenn (the Junk Man) has travelled all over South Australia since 2014 advocating for loose parts learning environments, with a nature-based pedagogy informed, not only from the latest research, classic theories, and early childhood education experiences over the last 20 years, but from a full life of living in the country, where a deep connection has shaped his environmental and education philosophy.
Cost. $400+gst (Fuel surcharge for country)
Session booking times
Morning session; 9-10:30.
Afternoon session: Anytime 1pm on.
For early childhood education sites ages 0-5
Enough resources to support around 30-40 children.
